Description
Way up on the hills above Tintagel lies Condolden Farm, the highest Farmhouse in Cornwall and the home of Tintagel Brewery.
Originally set up in an old and redundant milking parlour, the environmentally friendly brewery is now housed in a state of the art, purpose-built facility.
We use pure water from our spring, rising 852 feet above the sea at Trebarwith Strand, and our very own wind turbine, to produce a suite of classic real ales for all of Cornwall to enjoy.
All beers are also made with wet yeast (a great mark of quality) and English malts and hops (so that they hold their head well), and have a refreshing sparkle in their character from cask conditioning.

500ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Aug 22. Thanks Jeremy for bringing this from your travels to Arthur's round table. Clear amber appearance, medium white head. Initial impressions of stewed marmalade, sweet malt with a robust twiggy bitterness. Quite old school in feel, and not really a style I aim for in a pub, but a decent whack of flavour here.

22nd August 2022; Shrewsbury Beer Exchange, Chez Sophie. Five guys drinking beer and talking shit! First beer of the evening is a 500ml bottle of this (BB November 2022), brought by me. Clean amber pour, wispy white head. Malty front and fairly sweet, some light orange flavours and slightly bitter towards the finish. Nice, easy start to the session.

28/8/2021. Cask at the 2021 East Anglian Beer Festival, Bury St Edmunds. Pours clear dark ruby brown with a small bubbly/frothy off-white to beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, dark fruit, berry, liquorice, molasses. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Very nice, for me one of the beers of the festival.
