GBBF Day 2. Cask. Almost clear amber brown beer, decent tan head. Smooth and softish palate, mildly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Soft dark malts, a little coffee and cream and a pleasingly light tang. Modest dark fruits. Mild bitterness on the finish. Slightly flat but tasty.

Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, nutty, caramel. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, caramel, nutty, sweet malt, dusty. From cask at The Front, Falmouth, Cornwall, on tour to 22 southern counties with OGJ and EE 04.01.19. Black. Persistent beige head. Fine aroma and taste of chocolate, dark malt, dark caramel and pine, balanced by hop bitterness. Round mouthfeel.

Sample@GBBF2018, London, with the Malmö crew - dark amber coloured pour with a beige head. Toasted and sweet malty, with lots of sweet caramel and toffee, singed brown sugar, dried fruit shred, medium bodied, touch of spice into the sweet malty close.

[ As Tintagel Pendragon IPA ].Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, pale malt, moderate to light heavy hoppy, citrus, grass, fruity hops, sharp. Flavor is moderate sweet and light heavy bitter with a average to long duration, sharp, sweet malt, fruity malt, fruity hops, hop bitter. Cask at GBBF '18, day 1, 07/08/18. Mahogany brown with a well presented beige covering. Nose is toffee, cocoa powder, light vanilla, fruit cake. Taste comprises stewed fruits, toffee, light spice, dark malts, brown sugar, raisins, dates. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Decent.
