50cl bottle from Provenance Wines. Appearance - clear golden with a nice head. Nose - orange creamola foam Taste - oddly there’s chocolate orange coming through. Nice but disconcerting. Palate - light to medium bodied. creamy texture and a clean finish. Overall - good pape ale.

Cask at the Cask, Pimlico, thanks to Paul for the pour, 05/08/13. Murky orange amber with a thin off white swirl. Nose carries a dark fruit tang, bitter orange, grass Taste comprises light grapefruit, orange pith, grassy, herbal notes, lemon rind. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry finish with a little spice and some bitternss. So so - a bit of a mish mash and doesn’t really pull together.

Cask at CP&K, Pimlico. It pours cloudy pale orange with no head. The nose is earth, pine, orange citrus, mango, tangerine and hay. The taste is smooth, earthy, orange, mango, grapefruit, light resin, decent bitterness, orange squash and wood. Medium body and low carbonation. Definitely not a looker, but smooth and very drinkable nonetheless!

Keg at the Cask, Pimlico, 05/08/13. Very dark mahogony brown with a thin light beige head. Nose is roast malt, dark toffee, chocolate. Taste carries more depth, light roast, milk chocolate, brown sugars. Medium bodied, fine carbonation dry lightly roasted finish. Decent enough sweet stout.

Cask at the southern. Surprised to read this is a pilsner, seems much more like a red ale. Good colour and head, light citrus hop and caramel malt nose, good bitterness. Nice.

Cask at CP&K. It pours darkest brown with a small tan head. The nose is roasty, coffee, chocolate, earth, wood and a hint of smoke. The taste is mellow roast, milk chocolate, earthy, wood, coffee, light bitterness, treacle and cola with a dry, roasty finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Not really my thing, but it is pretty well-balanced.
