Description
John Wilkinson owner & founder of 4T’s Brewery, worked as a drayman for Tetley Walkers (Warrington) and always explored the brewery grounds, from there he opened his own pub in 1998 called Wilkies Tavern which is now named The Tavern Sports Bar, which is a well-known cask ale pub in Warrington. His dream was to always start his own brewery and produce the styles of beers he loves.
Jordan Millington head brewer of 4T’s Brewery, worked at The Tavern Sports Bar since 2007 and always had a love for real ale. John gave him the opportunity to join the rising of 4T’s and he loves producing beers that everyone will love resulting in the slogan “satisfying taste buds everywhere”.

Keg @ Gas Works Brewbar, Manchester. Golden with a small head. Hopped, mildly bready character, perhaps a tad ordinary although no less drinkable for it

Hazy yellow colour with thin head. Aroma has a little lemon rind. Taste is a little grassy but is certainly bitter enough.

Black with lasting head. Aroma is woody and boozy. There's some raisin too. Complex taste with bitter roasted malts, lots of woody dryness too.

Bottle from Beer Emporium, Sandbach – drank at home. Pours a very dark reddish-brown with a small frothy tan head. The aroma is dominated by roasted malts but with hints of cocoa too. Malts again the mainstay in the mouth, plus cola, rye and old school hops with hints of coffee and chocolate. The malts coat the tongue leading to a bitter finish. This is rather nice.

Deep brown colour with creamy head. Really malty. Slightly roasted and bitter but as much as a Stout. Back notes of plums and dark bread.

Clear golden colour with lasting thin head. Considering the low alcohol it has a nice, full mouthfeel. Quite silky. It's a good malty Bitter with a floral hop bitterness.
