Cask-conditioned at the Volunteer, Bristol 7 April 2023. Golden in colour, with a moderately-sized, white, head. Floral hops, some lemon and tangerine character, light maltiness, leading to a moderately dry finish. Good.

Hand-pulled pint in the Railway Tavern (Newport, Shropshire) on 23rd March 2023. Clear golden body, white crown that lasted. Mini citrus lead in both the aroma and taste, some grassy and piney elements in the mix too, decent malty base, but it didn't seem that balanced or 'right' some how.

3/3/2023. Cask at the 46th Loughborough Beer Festival. Pours almost clear straw gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is malty, stewed fruits, rubber, herb, perfumed edge. Moderate sweetness, quite bitter. Moderate body, soft carbonation. Bitter finish. Fair.

3/3/2023. Cask at the 46th Loughborough Beer Festival. Pours clear dark amber bronze with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of malt, dried fruit, caramel, nut, slight veggie edge. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, soft carbonation. Okay.

[Cask at the Alehouse, Reading.] A straw coloured pour with a scant white covering; passion fruit aroma; sweet passion fruit taste to start, then deeply bitter, with lingering peach kernels; and a nicely rounded bitterness to finish. Good, but I wouldn’t want a second pint of this.

Cask at Winding Wheel Beer Festival, Chesterfield 2023. Pale golden colour, bubbly white foam head and aroma of malt, earthy, hop. Taste is malt, grain, earthy, with citrus bitterness. Light bodied, soft carbonation, dry citric bitter finish. Quite drinkable

Black with quick fading head. Really nice aroma and flavour with roasted dark malts and a touch of dark chocolate. Nice, silky mouthfeel.

Pale yellow colour with almost no head or carbonation. Intense aroma of perfumed mango jelly sweets. Flavour is similarly intense. Very fruity. Interesting sweet, tangy and bitter mix of flavour. Pithy bitterness in the finish helps a lot.

Clear purple colour with thin head. Aroma of sweet blackcurrant and leafy hops. Flavour is quite bitter. The sweet and sour element from the blackcurrant is nice but there seems to be an additional level of pithy bitterness, perhaps from the blackcurrant pits.
