Can picked up from Hoptimism website Loughborough Leicestershire UK and consumed at home Wednesday 25th November 2020 listening to Steve Lamaqs Evening Session on 6Music and cooking a Sausage Pot/Casserole. Pours hazy yellowy colour with a white head, for a regular ABC IPA this is ferociously hoppy the trio of Centennial, Chinook and Amarillo worked seamlessly together. Fruity, zippy, a little creaminess on the tongue from the oats, good perhaps a little bit intense but good.

440ml can. Chewy juicy, herbal hoppy and piney with some resin, citrus, grass and bitterness. Chewy fruity and bitter IPA. A bit harsh, but works surprisingly well.

Can. Hazy orange gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, fairly light, developing fine carbonation. Smooth light malts, a light creamy sweetness. Decent Citra hops, smooth orange and tangerine, fairly juicy and with a little peel bitterness. Don't think the lactose was needed here, but it's not overdone and adds a modest sweetness. Light finish. Pleasant dipa and easy drinking. Just nothing remarkable.

440ml can @ 6.2% now just brewed with mosaic hops. Pours murky orange-gold, small white head, ok retention. Aroma of fresh mango, pine, stone fruits, some minor resin; very good. Taste is semi-sweet with mango, pineapple, pine and a good long bitterness but not overdone. Good level of hops in this. Body is moderate and a soft carbonation is spot on. Overall an excellent pale ale.
