Bottle picked up at Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham, consumed at home the same day, Sunday 26th July 2015 Pours mid gold with a sticky white head atop. Aroma ok but there is a tiny hint of a sourness (very minimal but just about noticeable) A little indistinct in the mouth, not a patch on the Northfield Garage IPA but it’s ok. Good bitterness a little rough around the edges. Just about fine. A4 A4 T6 P3 Ov13 3.0

Bottle picked up at Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham, consumed at home the same day, Sunday 26th July 2015 Hazy gold with a white middling frothy head. A little bit of Del Monte tropicalness on the aroma. Quite sweet, fruity and full flavoured IPA, nice sweetness l, good soft carbonation. A touch of sweetened breakfast grapefruit and overripe honeydew melon. Lovely, it’s really good from another great Derbyshire brewery. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Bottle shared on the train home from the Cotteridge Convention 2015. Pours cloudy amber with a creamy, off-white head and a few floaties. The nose holds pine, dry fruits and grainy bread. Medium sweet flavor with some oily hops, pine, minerals, more grainy bread. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Resinous finish with notes of ripe berries, other leathery fruits. Not bad.

Bottle split on the return Cotts X-Press to EUS, 24/01/15 thanks to whomever! Hazed murky amber with a moderate light beige covering that retains well. Nose is light pine, biscuit malt, mandarin. Taste carries a big mineral wash, straw, earthy hop, caramel, bitter orange, light spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok but lacks a little depth when considering the ABV.
