Description
Commenced brewing 1997 at the Drunken Duck, which is the principal outlet but the beers are also supplied direct on a non-permanent basis to about 80 pubs in the region. The Kings Arms (Cartmel) and the Tower Bank Arms (Sawrey) are permanent outlets for Tag Lag. Three beers - Chesters Strong & Ugly, Tag Lag and Red Bull Terrier - are available in bottles. The remainder of the output is cask but the brewery is looking to expand the bottled range.

Cask @ Drunken Duck, Barngates. Clear copper with a head and a robust hoppy maltiness, although perhaps just a little more of the former - certainly in its nose. It's slightly floral in design.
