On tap at Cronx Bar Croydon. Deep red brown. Red ale. Some sweetness. Some lime. Good American style red ale. Touch of tannin good malt. Good bitterness. OK.

Cask at GBBF '18, day 1, 07/08/18. Lightly hazed reddish amber with a decent beige covering. Nose is toffee, dusty fruits, hint of red berry, brown bread. Taste comprises sweet malts, biscuit, perfume, cheesecake base, caramel, dried fruits. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with light hop bitterness. Decent enough offering.

Cask at the GBBF 2018 day 1 07/08/2018. A light hazed reddy amber coloured pour with a a loose off white head. Aroma is nutty brandy snap, tobacco. Tangy. Palate is medium sweet, full, sticky, moderate carbonation,. Not bad.. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, red berries tobacco, pine not bad.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Hazy amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth and fairly dry palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Sweetish malts, some caramel. Reasonably bright citric peel and marmalade. Little floralness. Light dry finish. Mild marmalade linger. Not bad.

Cask at the Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Gold pour with a white head. Nose of apricot, vanilla, lemon zest. Flavours of tangerine, light malt, grapefruit. Good.

Cask @ GBBF 2017. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate and licorice aroma. Roasted malty licorice and chocolate flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate and licorice finish.

[ As Brockley Red Ale ]. ABV: 4.8%. Light unclear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, caramel, pale malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, sweet malt, candy, cookie, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20171011] 6-3-6-3-11

Cask at The Great British Beer Festival 2017, Olympia, London. A dark brown/black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate aroma. Tastes the same, roasty, malty, chocolate, caramel. Decent enough porter from Brockley.
