Brockley Brewery was founded in 2013 by seven partners, coming from a range of backgrounds, but with common ground:

- We all live in South East London, in or around Brockley.
- We want to positively contribute to the local community
- We want to run our business “the right way” - we have strong ethics
- We want to make great beer as part of London’s vibrant craft beer scene

Keg at the new Brockley Brewery Taproom, Chiltonian Industrial Estate, Lee. Gold pour with a white head. Sweet fruit and spice nose. Vanilla and sweet malt taste. Reminds me of the original Youngs Ordinary.

Cask at the new Brockley Brewery Taproom, Chiltonian Industrial Estate, Lee. Amber pour with a white head. Nose of nuts,quite floral,splash of caramel. Earthy taste, burnt caramel, light toffee. Nice.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2017, [ Great British Beer Festival 2017 ], London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX.[ As Brockley Porter ].Clear light dark brown colour with a small average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, sweet malt, light to moderate roasted - chocolate. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, dark malt, toasted - roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20170808] 6-3-7-3-14

Clear medium amber yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, earthy. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, sweet malt, pale malt, earthy. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20160810] 6-3-5-3-12

On tap at Cronx Bar Croydon. Deep red brown. Red ale. Some sweetness. Some lime. Good American style red ale. Touch of tannin good malt. Good bitterness. OK.

Cask at GBBF '18, day 1, 07/08/18. Lightly hazed reddish amber with a decent beige covering. Nose is toffee, dusty fruits, hint of red berry, brown bread. Taste comprises sweet malts, biscuit, perfume, cheesecake base, caramel, dried fruits. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with light hop bitterness. Decent enough offering.

Cask at the GBBF 2018 day 1 07/08/2018. A light hazed reddy amber coloured pour with a a loose off white head. Aroma is nutty brandy snap, tobacco. Tangy. Palate is medium sweet, full, sticky, moderate carbonation,. Not bad.. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, red berries tobacco, pine not bad.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Hazy amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth and fairly dry palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Sweetish malts, some caramel. Reasonably bright citric peel and marmalade. Little floralness. Light dry finish. Mild marmalade linger. Not bad.
