Fast forward to present day. Edward Allingham's youngest son Matthew Allingham is now Head brewer of the mad brewer range and Brewery manger and shares the role of head brewer with his dad of the leatherbritches brewery range of beers. with the ever-increasing demand for the superb award winning beers Early in 2002 equipment was purchased to bottle beers using traditional methods. This is still our method of choice today. We are also proud to distribute our cask ales to over 150 real ale pubs and inns across the country and look forward to regaining contact with our wonderful customers in the near future.

The beer's pump clip features the legend Terry-Thomas, notable for many films but also for a Disney favourite of mine 'It's A Mad Mad Mad Mad World'. Nothing mad about this session golden-blonde clear brew. Easy and hoppy with light sugary-fruit, and the most gentle bitterness.
