Cask @ Victorian Craft Beer Café, Halifax. Golden with a small creamy head. Has a crisp tropical fruitiness with its hop, not too stated, but smooth in the palate and tasty enough.

Keg @ Victorian Craft Beer Café, Halifax. Pale glowing blonde with a thinnish head. Hoppy but dry tasting, no real flavours evident other than a hint of fruitiness in its nose.

Bottle. Beer Stop, Dronfield. Very hazy, dark straw colour. Thin, bubbly, messy, sticky, white head. Nose is very fruity. Pineapple. Sweet white grape. Orange pulp. Vanilla biscuit malts. Taste is sweet, turning soft, pithy and zesty bitter. Juicy mouthfeel. Sparkly fizz. Some dryness on the finish, with a fruity, bitter close. Very nice, easy drinker.

[ As Torrside Fire Damage ].Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, sweet malt, smoke - meat, smoke, meat, bread. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, chocolate, sweet malt, dark malt, light smoked. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20160217]

[ As Torrside NZ PA ].Clear medium orange color with a average, open and frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, dried fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, riped fruit - dried fruit, pale malt, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20160217]

Cask at Cafe Beermoth - Manchester. Pours deep brown with a thick, lasting beige cream head. Mellow roasted malts in the nose, some milk chocolate, light earth. Light sweet flavour with relaxed ashy roast, some bittersweet cocoa, scorched earth, faint leather. Light bodied with fine carbonation and creamy texture. Nicely layered chocolate in the finish, with more roasted malts, burnt wood, hints of dried dark berries. A really solid low-octane stout.

Keg at Cafe Beermoth. Pours totally clear gold with a creamy, white head. The nose holds pale bread, citrusy hops, tangerine. Light-medium sweet flavour with more bready pale malts, hints of meringue, tangerine, orange, light bitter rind, hay. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Nicely balanced on the finish, with faint minerality, more juicy citrus fruits, sturdy pale malt sweetness. A solid sessioner.

Cask @ Gardeners Rest, Sheffield. Black with an off-white frothy-head. Not quite feeling its strength, it has a fairly easy drinking texture with a smoothish, fuller, roasted malt aroma and taste.

GraviCask, shared with Finn at Camra’s National Winter Ales Festival. Cloudy apricot coloured body. Minimal head. Smoked fruity aroma. Similar taste of smoked fruit and ham. Prolonged finish. Medium to thin bodied. Likable to a certain extent (The Roundhouse, Derby 19.02.2016).
