Bottle at Fin & Loz’s tasting with Jan, Charlotte, Craig, Stella & kids consumed Saturday 22.10.11 I picked this up somewhere? Bit thin in the mouth but with some light spent coffee grains, its ok but falls a little bit down when compared to some similar in style. Dark brown in colour with a light beige head. Cask handpump at the brewpub, Oakham, Rutland 23-01-09 Pours mid amber with a clean white head, again like the ’Ten Fifty’ had before this was in excellent condition , but then it should be at the brewpub. Some light hops and a touch of malt on the nose. This beer is crisp in the mouth, nice fizzy bitterness. The taste is more tingly than tangy, but its malty, quite fruity and not at all bad. A6 A5 F6 P3 OV13 3.3 Had this again at The Brewpub, Oakham, Rutland, 14.05.11 Gold with white head. This is an easy drinking session beer, decently bitter with some citrus fruitiness A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1 3.3 first time 3.1 second time, given 3.2.
