0,5l bottle (5,6%) from Bootlegger bottle shop in Paris, FR. Head is medium, white, average retention. Colour is deep gold, light hazy. Aroma is very nice peated tones almost that cover all. Taste is medium malty base, light smoked and peated tones, smoked meat touch, woody, light fruity, nice balanced harmonic bitterness, soft carbonation, good for the style, enjoyed for sure.

Bottle from the brewery's bottle shop - many thanks, Anke! Pours hazy black with a big, slowly thinning, frothy, beige head. Aroma of fondant, chestnut, clove, cold coffee, earth, wet forest floor. Taste is a soft malty profile of sweet chocolate, nuts, bitter coffee, earth & subtle spices with a sourish, dark fruit-like undertone. Dry, toasty, earthy hoppy finish, more coffee & brown bread. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Nice winter Ale with little accents.

Bottle from the brewer's shop in Metz - many thanks, Anke! Pours clear golden with a quickly thinning, frothy, white head. Aroma & taste have apple, pine, grass, pear, sourish citrus, some herbal & yeasty accents. The finish is dry, grassy & earthy, a bit metallic but lingering soft fruitiness makes up for that. Medium body, oiliy texture, fizzy carbonation. Bit underwhelming.
