Bottle @ DØE. Pours black with a small brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, licorice. Flavor is sweet, malty, caramel, chocolate, heavy licorice, little alcohol. Medium body, soft to average carbonation, sweet finish with a little warming alcohol. 160119

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Ålbæk Havne Stout ].Clear dark black brown colour with a average to small, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, fudge, sweet malt, dark malt, toffee, light burnt. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average to long duration, sweet malt, sugary, licorice, soft licorice, dark malt, roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Bottle. Clear copper, offwhite head. Malty aroma, green, fresh wood. Malty flavour, slightly sweet, some caramel, nutty notes and something green... not bad

Bottle. Cloudy amber, light beige head. Quite dark for a Tripel. Malty, slightly yeasty aroma, some dried fruit, chocolate, again not very Tripel-ish. Malty, sweet and caramely flavour. Has a slightly weird bitterness, a little plastic and hints of chocolate (???). Messy and not a Tripel. Maybe they mixed up the labels? It's described as a Tripel, but I'm not sure what it is...

From bottle at Ganddal 24.12.18. Copper amber. Decent beige head and lacing. Aroma and taste of sweet malt, toffee, dried red berries, vanilla, cardamom and herbs. Good.
