Keg at CBJ, Enid Street, 28/08/24. Black with a thin tan cap that veers to the edge. Nose is chocolate melt, molasses, dark malts, spice, booze, toasted brown sugars. Taste comprises chocolate, light roast, vanilla, sticky toffee pudding, dark malts. Full bodied, oily viscous feel, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Tidy enough impy but file under 'UT hype score' ... its okay but is a touch boozey/sweet with no real discernible depth to the flavour for a 14% number.

Keg at CBJ. Pours clear deep brown with a small, creamy tan head. Big sweet flavour, sugary dark mats, raisins, toffee. Full bodied, oily and chewy with fine carbonation. Sugary finish, sticky and lightly warming. Tasty enough.

Tap at cbj. A thick oily, black brown coloured pour with a halo of tan head. Aroma is medium sweet, tar, liquorice, black malts, big cakey, raisin, dried fruits,. Palate is thick and chewy, toffee, apple, moderate carbonation, sticky. Flavour is composed of thick chewy, brown sugars, tar, liquorice, chewy,. Liquorice, nice.

Keg at Craft Beer Junction. Opaque dark brown beer, small dark tan head. Surprisingly light palate, decent fine minerally carbonation. Thin feeling dark malts, a decent dark chocolate. Chocolate cake. Fair amount of boozy spice but it works here. Some barrell character here but hard to discern what. Crisp finish. Nice but I was expecting something a lot more sumptuous.
