[On tap at the brewery.] A straw colour with a thin white head; sweet floral aroma; sweet floral taste with a touch of citrus and a smooth biscuity malt body; then a crisp finish with a hint of spice. Simple and nicely balanced - much better than average for a monthly Rebellion brew.

[Cask at the brewery.] A good looking chestnut brown pour with a loose cream head; earthy malt aroma; sweet earthy malt body; with a spicy bitterness and a malty finish. The pump clip hints at chilli, but there is no heat. Better than the average monthly Rebellion offering.

[Cask at the Royal Standard, Wooburn Common.] A reddish copper coloured pour with a ring of white head; vinous aroma; quite thin in the mouth, and with a definite taste of vanilla fudge, followed by some soft brown sugar' then finishing with a kick of burnt sugar bitterness before a fudgy finish. Very good.
