Cask at the Royal Standard, Wooburn Common. A pale chestnut pour with a dense cream head; looking rather like a nitro-beer; straightforward malty aroma; smooth in the mouth with a malty body and some fruit; then a dry bisuity finish. A nice Irish Ale, I don't get the Cuban connection.

Cask at the Shurlock Inn, Shurlock Row. A reddish chestnut pour with a tight cream head; aroma of sour grains; earthy in the mouth with some sweet biscuity malts and a touch of sourness; then a biscuity finish. Nicely done, but not very seasonal.
