Cask at the Crown, Hazlemere, 20/04/19. Clear golden copper with a decent white head. Nose is grassy, light citric zest, bready notes, toasted grains. Taste comprises lemon rind, straw, pale malts, grains, hint of tangerine. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Passable cask golde.

[From cask at the brewery.] A pale amber pour with a loose cream head; biscuity malt aroma; some grape juice and apricot kernel to start, then biscuity malts and a light spicy bitterness. Disappointing considering the list of hops involved - more needed.

6/4/2019. Bottle from Rebellion Brewery Shop, Marlow Bottom. Pours dark amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of light toffee, malt, fruit, caramel and sugar water. Medium sweetness with light bitterness. Moderate body, water texture, average to fine carbonation. Bit disappointing.

5/4/2019. Cask at the Rebellion brewery shop, Marlow Bottom. Pours dark amber bronze with a small off-white head. Aroma of toffee, roasted malt, dried fruit and nuts. Moderate sweetness with medium bitterness. Medium body, oilybtexture, soft carbonation. Nice bittersweet toffee finish. Best of the four they had on cask.

[On tap at the brewery.] A straw colour with a thin white head; sweet floral aroma; sweet floral taste with a touch of citrus and a smooth biscuity malt body; then a crisp finish with a hint of spice. Simple and nicely balanced - much better than average for a monthly Rebellion brew.
