On tap at the brewery. A pale amber pour with a loose white head; malty aroma with some tropical fruit and grass; malty taste with a light bitterness; and some caramel to finish. Not the best of the monthly series.

Cask at the Hope and Champion, Beaconsfield. Poured a copper colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is woody hop, nutty light fruit. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light smooth fruity woody hop palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

On tap at the brewery. An attractive bright amber pour with a tight cream head; simple malty aroma; sweet nutty malt taste; and an earthy bitterness leaving lingering malts. A well made malty bitter.

Rating from bottle collection/historic scores. Bottle purchased from Waitrose when in the area some time back. Nice citrus aroma but that aside wasn’t so keen.

Draft at the Heidrun - High Wycombe. Pours mostly clear copper-gold with a creamy, off-white topping. The nose holds grainy malts, earth, old leathery berries. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with more toasty grains, mellow earthy bitterness, leaves. Not bad.

Cask at high Wycombe. A hazed amber orange coloured pour with a a sticky off white head. Aroma is sweet nutty toffee, red berries, honey, brown sugars. Flavour is composed of toasted brown sugars, red berries, honey, . Palate is semi sweet decent cask condition. Good stuff.
