Draft. I agree with the brewer’s description; it overlaps the pale ale and IPA styles. It is more malty and less hoppy than an IPA. Crisp, slightly sweet, bitter.

On tap at Odd Side. The first sample was an opaque amber but the growler was pretty clear. Totally opaque. Decent head and aromas of super damn hell yes tropical fruit. Pineapple, passion fruit, mango, cantelope. Flavor is sweet and fruity. Hells yes!!

On tap at Odd Side. Body is dark brown with a very thin head and lots of coffee and a little chocolate on the nose. Some mint that comes through stronger in the flavor. This beer has balance, interest and extra style points for the mint. Awesome stuff!

On tap at Odd Side. Pours dark brown, little head, aromas of chocolate and coffee. Yummy smell! Flavor is pretty good too. Lots of chocolate and coffee that then disappears in a thin finish.

Sample at Odd Side. Pours dark brown, kinda thin. Little head. Aromas are straight phenol or nail polish with a little roasted malt. Flavor is duties under a layer of hot alcohol. There is some peanut and chocolate, but something went wrong with the fermentation on this one... I hope.

On tap at Morningwood release. Pours a deep brown with little head and thin aromas that remind me of hop smell when I have a cold (muted), a litte dark malt (coffee) and just a hint of booze. Flavor is pretty thin, both on the malt and hops. It’s good, but the hops is more of just a bitter presence (I’m dying for a punch of centennial dry hops!)

Sampled at GABF. Pours an oily black with some spitty head. Nose is straight Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup, chocolate, peanut butter, honey, caramel. Tastes like peanut butter and chocolate, malt. Chalky and oily finish. Smells silly but the finish is a bit of a let down.

Sampled at GABF. Pours a clear orange with one ring of white head. Malty nose, oranges, flowers, honey. Sweet honey flavor, pine, orange, zesty lime. Medium bodied, zesty finish. Very sessionable.

Draft at Odd Side. Clear straw body, thin off-white head. Light grassy nose, watermelon hard to discern with malt aromas wafting through the taproom. The body is light and grassy, nicely complemented by light, sweet watermelon notes. Simple but refreshing.
