Description
Odd Side Ales is a family of gifted individuals, focused on the shared goal of crafting unique products, while maintaining the utmost quality.
Our story began in 2010, as a micro-brewery producing craft beer from our pub located inside the historic piano factory in Grand Haven, Michigan. We quickly outgrew the pub’s brewing capacity and now, after three different expansions, brew from our own 44,000 sq. ft. facility.
Our main focus is to creatively stay on the leading edge of craft beer styling. While maintaining a large core of year round and seasonal favorites, we strive to introduce new recipes that push the boundaries of flavor combinations and craft beer categories. Everyone at Odd Side Ales is here because they have a true love of craft beer, the industry as a whole, and the people who drink and enjoy what we are able to do each day!
Beyond Michigan, we now distribute to Wisconsin, Illinois, Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky. We hope to continue our growth, expanding our reach even further, and share our craft as far as possible!

On tap at Odd Side. Pours a clear gold with little head and aromas of peaches and light malts. Flavor is light beer with peaches. Not particularly outstanding, and I couldn’t find a lot of tea in there, but I liked it. Simple and refreshing.

Hell yes! On tap at Odd Side. Pours a dark brown with a kind of dingy tab head and aromas that are wonderful. Chocolate, cinammon, cayenne. I can’t wait. First sip kicks pretty good and this is a lot hotter than I expected. It’s really good, but hot. I wish it were a little thicker and a little more developed with the malts... Or maybe that’s a roundabout way of saying \"less hot\". I like the heat, but it buries the other flavors a bit.

Sampled from the tap at the 15th annual MBGSF. Pours a very dark brown with a dark brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of coffee, cinnamon and a bit of a spicy Mexican chocolate underlying. Flavor starts with roasted malts and coffee and has a relatively strong cinnamon note with Mexican chocolate coming out in the finish.

Sampled from the tap at the 15th annual MBGSF. Pours a hazy gold with a white head that dissipates quickly and completely. Aroma is full of a strong coffee note with only a hint of backing light grain note. Flavor works better with a light coffee note that works well with the light grain, grass and fruit notes.
