Bottle at home. One year old. Pours a hazy deep nut brown colour with a beige creamy head. Slightly sweet aroma of smoked meat, forest floor, caramel, burned wood, leather, bread crust, rubber and some alcohol and nuts. More forest floor and heather in the flavour along with smoked meat, chocolate, burned wood and ash and some warming alcohol in the end. Has a soft and silky mouth feel, full-bodied and a light to medium bitterness. Smoked, well-balanced and tasteful ale. Delicious.

Bottle. Clear dark golden body with a small off-white head. Aroma has caramel malt and dry fruit with raspberries. Flavor is medium sweet caramel malt, dry fruit and raspberries. Medium body and OK aftertaste. Kinda nice but not really hitting my pallets.

Fra flaske på RBHD-treff ombord på Fridtjofen, jan-17: klar, rødlig kobber med kort storboblet skum. Beskjeden aroma med karamell, gress og overmodne bær. Smaken har en blanding med karamell og røde bær. Mild bitterhet i ettersmaken.
