Tja. En helt grei pils. Dvs litt bedre enn pils var det. Men så altfor mye av eplesmaken merket jeg ikke. Kan ane det fordi jeg vet det er epler der. Litt synd. Hadde litt gode forhåpninger til denne. Også Gravenstein epler….mmmm. Men den var lettdrikkelig i sommervarmen. Helt greit sak.

Bottled, thanks oh6gdx! Very dark brown. Earthy nose with notes of prunes. Mid dry with medium-full body and well rounded mouthfeel. Dark chocolate, figs and earth. Mid bitter finish. Deep and rich, yet not heavy.

Bottle at Kabelvågen Camping, Norway. Pours . Aroma of citrus, tropical fruits, caramel, oranges. Some sweetness, mainly bitter, some sweet and fruity finish.

Huge white head. Clear yellow body with strong carbonation. Mealy fruity herbal aroma with apple notes. Dryish fruity spicy mealy taste with apple and straw notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish apple and oranges aftertaste with spicy mealy notes. Lingering acidic metallic notes. It’s OK, and rather different. (0.33l bottle, from Meny Strømmen.)

Bottle in our tent, at Maulavangen Camping, Norway. Pours hazy anger with big yellowish head . Aroma of sulfur, hay, nuts, caramel, flowers. Tastes sweet, like bad homebrew. Reminds me a bit of a bitter.

Bottled (from Vinmonopolet, Kirkenes). Black colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is liquorice, ashes, some toffee and mild herbal notes. Flavour is ripe fruits, mild ashes, some coffee as well as some herbal notes. Balanced, but a bit too simplistic.
