Hazy golden with a white head - malty aroma with good hop aroma with fruits and citrus - Malt to support a nice hop profile with some citrus, and olso some yeasy notes - Hops goes into the finish and leaves a dry finish - This was nice

On tap at Cafe Herman. An unclear, amber beer topped by a creamy, light beige head. Rye bread, caramel, some fruits, both fresh and dark dried fruits. Meaty hints. There’s a light bitterness in the flavor, some sweetness, perhaps a bit much actually, with rye bread notes, caramel, dried fruits and a pleasant floral and piney hoppyness. Medium to full body, pleasant carbonation. Lasting bitter and malty-sweet finish. Nice and easy drinkable, but I’d like it a tad drier. 140617

On tap at Cafe Herman. It pours a lightly unclear, golden body under a dense, white head leaving lacings. The aroma has a fine pilsner style scent, grainy, grassy and lightly peppery, with a good apple fruityness added. There’s a fine bitterness in the flavor, with pale malts, some resins and peppery notes. Grass and apples too. Medium to full body, dry and nicely carbonated. Lasting bitter finish with apples. A fine beer, refreshing and tasteful. 140617

Bottle. A clear, light brown beer with a dense, light beige head of moderate size. It’s roasted and bready on the nose, with some dried fruits and a grassy, lightly piney hoppyness. It’s quite bitter in the mouth, with some chocolate and coffee, as well as bready flavors and some roasted malts. Soft but a bit high carbonation level. No points deducted for the carbonation level though, it’s pleasant anyway. Roasted, bitter finish. I felt something unrecogniceable both in the nose and the mouth, wasn’t until I read the commercial description that I realized it was orange peel. Unusual for a bock style beer, but nice. Won’t shy away from drinking more of this. 140621
