Bottle 330ml. @ home on the terrace. [ As Balder Sognapils Ekstra ].[ Trade by yngwie ]. Light unclear medium to dark brown amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, sweet malt, pale malt, caramel, bread notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, caramel, malt extract, bread notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140804]

Shared bottle at Cardinal, Stavanger. Copper, cloudy. Chocolate, fruits, ester. Re-rated July 22 2015: Shared bottle at Gladmat festival, Stavanger. Pours hazy amber with little head. Aroma of raisins, some citrus, red fruits. Thin bodied. Some sour finish. A bit boring.

From bottle at Cardinal. Cloudy golden. Quickly diminishing white head. Unfresh aroma and taste of green apples. If apples had not been added, this would have been an off-taste. I think it still is. Better apple taste in aftertaste. Low bitterness.

Tiny bubbly shortlasting head. Aroma is sweet grainy, cereal, sugar, dried grain, weeds, butterscotch, honey, light malts, hay. Taste is harsh grainy, weeds, hay, dried grain, harsh grass, bark, pine needles, harsh hops, cardboard, alcohol. Longlasting harsh bitterness, grainy mouthfeel. Meh!!

Black with a brown head - Good malt aroma with some roasted malt - Good malt body with some caramel and some roasted malt - The roasted malt goes into the finish along with some coffee notes and caramel - This was quite nice
