Bottle 330ml. [ As Balder Vårøl ].Clear medium brown amber color with a small average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, dusty malt, sugar. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, caramel, brown sugar, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140705]

Bottle from trade with fonefan, many thanks! Trübes goldenes Bier mit geringer weißer Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig, hopfig, etwas fruchtig. Geschmack malzig süß, leicht fruchtig herb, ok!

Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is sweet, sugar, butterscotch, caramel, nuts, grass, hay. Taste is slightly sweet, hay, butterscotch, grass, paper, weeds, light malts. Medium bitterness, slightly watery mouthfeel. Boring.

Sample at Bergen Ølfestival 2014. Black with a small tan head. Light roasted malt, chocolate and some coffee. Nothing special with this one but an ok one. The finish was dry and quite bitter.

Sample at Bergen Ølfestival 2014. (my first one from this brewery) A bit hazy golden with a large white head. On the sweet side with hops, malt, some spices. The finish was medium bitter and rather dry. An ok one.

Clear medium orange yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, fruity, light to moderate hoppy. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average duration, fruity, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140829]
