Bottle. It’s a clear, brown beer topped by a small, dense, light beige colored head. The aroma is on the spiced side, with ginger, cloves and cinnamon. Bready, roasted malts. It’s dry and medium bodied on the palate, with a nice carbonation level. Roasted malts and a bread crusts in the flavor, but there’s also spices, a tad too much I think. Especially the cloves lasts too long. Sure a drinkable one, but I find the spices a bit unbalanced. Perhaps some more body and sweetness would do the trick. 141220

330ml bottle bought at Eide Handel. Clear deep copper-reddish body to a slowly diminishing beige head. Faint lacing. Smell of earthy malts, nuts, and ripe fruits. Mid-sweet taste of liquorice, red orange and earthy malts. Malt driven ending, slightly roasted. Quite alright, easy to drink (Tromsø 13.12.2014).

330 ml bottle. Clear amber body with a medium sized tan head. Aroma of malt, caramel, liquorice and a hint of oranges. Flavor is sweet, quite smooth malt, caramel, slightly fruity and low bitterness. Medium to thin body and moderate in aftertaste. Decent, kind of original, relatively balanced for this low ABV, even if the liquorice/oranges flavor feels a bit odd here, quite smooth but nothing to go mad about.
