Flaske fra Vinmonopolet Verksgata: Lett uklar gylden kobberfarge med fint kniplingskum. Aroma av malt, karamell og skogbunn. I tillegg har smaken litt karamell og tilbakelent bitterhet. Behagelig avslutning, men den hadde problemer med å takle et sildesmørbrød.

Flaske fra polet, Verksgata: uklar lys kobber med beskjeden skumdannelse, men skummet blir til kniplinger og varer faktisk helt til bunns. Mild aroma av marmelade og furunål. Gjenspeiles også i smaken, som med sin tørre og fint balanserte bitterhet gjør det sorgløst å helle innpå.

Bottle at home. Dark copper to brown with tanned head. Aroma of raisins, plums, glue, some smoke. Taste of malt, dried fruits, spices, alcohol. Sweet, but with quite a bitter finish.

330 ml bottle. Practically clear, golden body with a white head. Mild aroma of malt with some fruit. Flavor is smooth, mild malty, light caramel, some fruit and fair bitterness. Medium body and aftertaste. Decent and clean pale ale for the grocery marked.

Taste is kind of sour-ish grainy, weeds, wet grain, minerals, harsh hay, sour caramel, burnt grain, paper. Little bitterness, sour-ish and harsh watery mouthfeel. Crap!

330ml bottle picked up at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Dense, fawn-coloured head. Slightly cloudy brownish body. Lacing rings. Rather restrained malt-fruity aroma, including nuts, caramel and plums. Mouth filling taste of dark apricot and plums joined by honey, caramel and a touch of forest. Bittersweet dried fruity finish. Medium bodied. Soft on the swallow. Pleasing (Tromsø 14.11.2014).

330ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Sentrum Tromsø. Clear amber colored body. Cloudy last pour. Begins with a finger-thick beige head reduced to a few patches at the surface. Lacing rings down the glass. Moderate aroma of brown malts, hints of honey and dried fruits. Likewise, the taste profile includes caramel, honey and a touch of basement leading to an ending of resinous hops. Smooth on the swallow. Okay, food matching (with pizza at home 14.11.2014).
