Bottle. Pours dark golden to amber with a small creamy off white head. Aroma is roasted malts with bread, biscuits, toffee and caramel, as well as a nice whiff of hops in the back. Medium body with average carbonation. Flavour is roasted malts with bread, caramel and toffee, as well as orange peel hops. Lingering sweet and balanced finished.

Big yellowish beige head. Hazy brownish red body. Caramelly buttery aroma with earthy grainy notes. Dry-sweet spicy fruity caramel taste with earthy grainy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish grainy spicy aftertaste with chocolatey earthy notes. Nice, drinkable, a bit odd. (0.33l bottle. No longer remember where from.)

Fra flaske på Cardinal, M2 sesongåpning: rubinfarge med kort skum. God maltsmak (med litt nøttepreg), men humlen er så og si fraværende.Allikevel ikke klissete. Vandig, anonym. Frister ikke til gjentakelse, men jeg bør nok gi den en ny sjanse.

Fra flaske på Cardinal, M2 sesongåpning: tynt filmskum og en ufrisk aroma lover ikke godt, men eplesmaken er heldigvis frisk og god. Sommerdrikk med ciderpreg,enkel å helle over drøvelen men ingen ølopplevelse. 15 IBUiflg. Sigmund. En klassisk pilsner skal ha mellom 30 og 45 IBU (Ray Daniels: Designing Great Beers). Skjønner ikke hva denne skal være, en rar hybrid.
