Draft @ the brewpub. 5.2% with Citra, Ella, Mosaic and Vic Secret hops. Pours a hazy yellow color with a small white head. Has a fruity grassy citrus hoppy weak tart aroma. Fruity tart citrus hoppy peachy flavor. Has a fruity grassy peachy citrus hoppy tart finish.

At Foudres Unis. *Tuesday saison Pour at Foudres Uni, 2 oz. Cloudy light gold with a funky grassy wheat aroma. Light to medium in body with a crisp flavor and a definitely green herbal hop character. Good stuff. 3.7 ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle: Poured a nice yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light tart notes with loads of grapes notes is quite enticing. Taste is a nice mix of grapes with some tart notes, light residual sugar notes with some oak and a light funky finish. Body is about average with good carbonation. Enjoyable saison with right amount of complexity.

Bottle shared with the KL tasting crew. Poured a murky orange straw colour with little life. The aroma is Bretty yeast, tropical citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate to light sour with a dry bready biscuit dough yeasty, light citrus fruit palate. Medium to light bodied with average soft carbonation.

My last beer in Toronto is: Burdock DIPA 8.3% Double dry-hopped with Idaho 7 and El Dorado hop hash + Vic Secret. I picked up this bottle at the Brewpub 2 days ago. I gotta day this hazy copper beauty smells heavenly with a juicy tangerine and tropical fruits aroma, so fresh so juicy. Fairly full bodied, a bit boozy and dry in the finish but it has good chewy malt notes. The taste is great juicy fruitiness but balanced with a pithy citrus rind in the finish. The is probably one of the better hazy Double IPAs I’ve had due to the rich body as opposed to lots of them having a somewhat thin dry one. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
