Smell- weak, caramel, Belgian notes, yeast, sweetness .. all the good stuff.. yet... weak. Foam- thin, yeasty, caramel, Belgian large in the mouth. Head is small-ish white color. Appearance- beer specific cap? Not sure, but I look of it... Clear orange color, bit blander... no carbonation. From- snifter Taste- malty, yeast, caramel, Belgian notes, acidic. Alcohol is well hidden. This is a decent tripel by my books, but not the best. Al feels a bit muffled and laid back, still very nice.

Bottle from Metro. Drunk 2y after expiration, but in a cold fridge for about the last 3 years. Reddish amber with a huge barely-pink head. Fruity acidity and a touch of malty nose. Dry, breast, yeast esters, very high carb, nice acidity and a bit of caramel biscuit. Decent lesser-known Belgian.

Bottle from FinestBelgianBeers. Pours a slightly murky chestnut brown colour with a medium sized thick throthy beige head. Nice lacing. Aromas of dry dark fruits, lots of woody alcohol, hints of caramel, cherries and vanilla. Taste is more of the same notes with some added tart and spice. Full bodied, lively carbonation on the palate and a long woody and slightly tart finish. Nice drink.

A bit sour, very funky. A bit ashy, very yeast driven. Good beer, classic style. Online beerwulf
