In mid 2024 the brewery became a partner of Legend Whisky which allowed the brewery to avoid ceasing its activities and to continue brewing.

Cask at Crewe Dog, Crewe. Pours an extremely dark chocolate brown with minimal cream head. Vanilla and raisins can be found in the aroma. Tonka beans are the immediate sensation in the mouth, alongside chocolate, dried fruit and cola, Texture is a bit watery. Later on some spices and a burning sensation are evident. Finish is slightly sweet and dry. Nice enough, but much more tonka than stout.

On tap at Ebenezers, Crewe. Pours a hazy / cloudy very pale straw with minimal off-white head. There’s a slightly sweet aroma with tropical fruits and hints of grapefruit. In the mouth it is crisp and clean, and dominated by hops. These are from the floral and fruity end of the spectrum, but that aspect is not overdone. Main flavours are pineapple, grapefruit and other citrus. Excellent ! Hides its strength very well.

Keg tap at Tank & Paddle York. Pinkish violet, cloudy with a thin off-white head. Light strawberry aroma with some sweet puffy malt character. Sweet taste, plenty of berry notes, leading to a shorter finish. Light body, heavy carbonation. Enjoyable if inconsequential.
