In mid 2024 the brewery became a partner of Legend Whisky which allowed the brewery to avoid ceasing its activities and to continue brewing.

Can from Hoptimism. Appearance - golden and clear. Creamy white head. Nose - honey and candied lemon. Taste - more lemon and honey, almost a bit lozenge. Palate - medium bodied, tangy middle but quite sweet on the end. Overall - decent but lacks the cleansing tang of the more authentic version.

Can from the strait and narrow Lincoln. Pale golden colour with a slim white head. Aroma and taste are chocolate and cream soda. Medium body.

Can from the Black Toad. Appearance - deep brown to black with a large, fluffy beige head. Nose - lime, pine and dark chocolate. Taste - creamy dark chocolate and lime running through it, with still an edge of pine/resin. Palate - medium bodied, creamy and lightly zesty through middle and finish. Overall - I'd say this was closer to a hopped stout in style than a down the middle black IPA, but I do enjoy it.
