Can from Sainsbury’s. Black body with a thin tan head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of rum, liquorice and prune. Flavour of nuts and dark chocolate. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Rich and boozy. This is very nice and I was pleased to see no lactose on the ingredients list.

Lattina.

Nice service after I'd bought this one as a server informed me that the kitchen was closing imminently in case I would like to eat. I didn't have the heart to tell her I'd had a Pot Noodle in the hotel between drinking sessions. And this is a session too, hazy, quite tropical fruity but very easy texture and strength.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is piney and fruity hop with notes of stone fruits, grapefruit, pine, soft malt, citrus, touch of fruit marmalade. Flavour is fairly sweetish with a modest bitterness. Body is medium. Fine, bit average IPA, not very West Coast though with that restrained bitterness.
