Bottle from Scrattings @ 6.5%. Clear gold, brief bubbles. Aroma of fruity pear and floral blossom. Taste is fruity and sweet pear juice and core, light brown sugar, wood, modest dryness in the finish with a sweetness carrying through well. Medium bodied, slick, low tingly carbonation. Nice sweet mellow perry.

Bottle from Scrattings. Hazy gold, some brief bubbles on top. Quite a subtle aroma, getting some fruity apple core, wood, sweetness. Taste again is quite subtle at first, you really have to chew it around the palate to get the full flavour. The carbonation is too low to help you along on this. Once you do though there is a really nice fruitiness to this, quite pithy and juicy with wood, musk and mild bitterness giving a nice contrast. Medium bodied, slick, light sparkling carbonation. Not perfect but enjoyable overall.

Third, bag in box, shared with Finn on the third day of GBBF 2020 Winter, Old Redstreak Bar. Next to clear pale yellow body body. Bare naked surface, missing lacing. Moderate smell of mid-sweet pears. Sweet pears to the taste buds. Dry and sweet ending. Quite alright to drink, but really not my kind of taste. (Birmingham 06.02.2020).

Box @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Pale dishwater texture with tangy pear flavours. Its strength is evident too.
