[Cask at the Queens Arms, Basingstoke.] A pale amber pour with a loose white head; citrus aroma; lemony citrus taste; with a long grapefruit bitterness to finish.

Bottle from Secretts, Milford. Aroma combines honey malts but there an unpleasant lager style streak to it. Clear gold. Foamy white head dissipates quickly. Initial honey sweetness is soon forgotten as the malty Golden Ale takes over. Some light bitterness. Light bodied. Thin..Average-fizzy carbonation. Pretty poor effort really. Was going to suggest a move to Pale Ale - Flavored but this is very definitely a shitty gold.
