Description
Inspired by the Wiltshire landscape surrounding us, we work towards being the most sustainable brewery that we can be. Most importantly, when we began and with the right tools in our hands, we knew that we could create a mighty fine pint. A small team then set about with a vision for handcrafting ales from plough to pint. Using barley from our fields and chalk-filtered water from our own source, we’re bigger and bolder than we were then, but with the same knowledge that nothing quite beats the taste of a decidedly good pint after a long day.

Bottle at home picked up at Cobbs Farm shop outside Hungerford on a day trip to visit my parents. I chilled this one down and after a 1.45 hour hot drive home this was perfect. It was all about the bitter English hops. In fact they dominated in a perfect way and the beet scythed across my palate. Absolutely lovely.

Pre-lunch bottle while visiting parents. They had got some interesting ones in and that was really appreciated. Good pour and colour. And an amazing balance of sweet from the honey and bitterness from the hops. It really cut across the palate. Very good.
