S'appuyant sur un cocktail fruits exotiques, pêche, herbes (a priori présence d'houblonnage à cru simple mais efficace), cette Thumper est globalement appréciable. Néanmoins une trop grande douceur et une amertume manquant de vivacité la limite largement et en font une IPA sans grosses prétentions. Le visuel est sur un joli blond doré limpide avec une fine effervescence et une mousse blanche nappant la surface. Le nez est sur l'alliance fruit exotiques, herbes et pêche. A l'attaque l'ensemble est doux ave en complément des touches de poivre et de miel. La deuxième bouche est un peu plus amère, mais insuffisamment avec une amertume qui manque de vivacité. L’arrière-bouche est plus herbacée mais trop douce. La corpulence est pour sa part très correcte. Le final montre un une petite lancée sur l'amertume, mais la longueur, trop courte nous coupe dans notre élan. Correct bien que poussif.

Murky orange with a medium head, good lacing. Aroma of grapefruit and mango. Flavour is full bitter fruit hop, mango and grapefruit, light spicy bitter hop. All round lovely beer.

Can from beerclub. Milky yellow with a large head. Aroma of mango malt. Flavour is spicy fruit, orange malt, floral bitter hop. Spiced fruits at the base.

Moderate ipa for today's standards. Quite alcoholic and not that fresh taste.

Can shared in Canary Wharf - cheers to Fergus. Pours hazy orange with a creamy, off-white head. Lightly tangy, with hints of smoke, toasted grains, orange peel. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Interesting. Not bad.
