Draft at Beer Loves Food, Amsterdam. Black with a tan head. Aroma of roast, licorice, dark chocolate and cocoa. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

440 ml. can. Canned on 18/9/2018. Nuts expected this one to be fresher given that I got it quite recently. Still BBF 05/2019. Canned Red Rye IPA from a self-appointed farmhouse brewery from Ireland that I have heard of before. Pours amber orange with uneven low tanned head. Nose is chewy caramel malt, sweeter, rye, low pine resin hop oil, age probably needs to be taken into account. Lively dry bit rustic indeed bitter harsh dark leaf tea oil with pine resin, caramel, some rustic bitter esoteric oil hop profile, interesting hop profile, unusual rustic malt, could use a bit more body, lingering etheric hop oil and almost faint pennies finish. Bit quirky and nice decent overall.

ABV: 4.7%. Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, lime - citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity malt, cookie. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20190124]

Hazy blond with lasting head. Aroma and flavour have a lot of spicy yeast. Many similarities with Saison Dupont. Smooth texture.
