Our roots are deeply embedded in the hilly fields and farms of northeast Donegal. This is the perfect environment for the way we make beer. We don’t filter or pasteurise, and we let our industrious little friends, the yeast, carbonate the beer naturally during fermentation.
With the opening of K2, our new state-of-the-art facility in nearby Letterkenny in March 2017, the clinking of bottles coming off our line no longer mingles with the bleating of sheep from the surrounding fields. The farmhouse ethos at the core of what we do however remains the same.

Can from BiervanEijk, Frederiksoord. Grainy malty aroma with straw and sourdough bread. Slightly -- and I mean slightly -- buttery. Flavour is moderate bitter with a sourish hint. Body is medium. Decent, just a little offbeat.

Can from BiervanEijk, Frederiksoord. Aroma is roasted malt with chocolate, some coffee and caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, body is medium. That rabbit on the can art must have crushed all the coconuts under the tires of his tractor, because I'm not picking up any.

Can from Honest Brew. Light cloudy amber with small white head, some retention and lacing. Aroma of mango, citrus, bread, light earthiness. Nice but fairly subtle on the nose. Taste is more bold with notes of caramel, mango, orange, grapefruit, light spices, a fairly punchy bitterness in the finish for a NEIPA but it balances the sweetness well. Medium bodied, nice smoothness, slightly over-carbonated as I couldn't stop burping. Overall a good tasty IPA.

Can from Honest Brew. Pours a cloudy gold, small white receding head but lasts better than some sours. Aroma of confectionary apple sweets and a rather basic malt profile. Taste has a more to it. There is a nice tangy apple, light sourness, lemon sherbet, drying close. Mouthfeel is light refreshing, light dryness, nice moderate carbonation feel. Its a bit mixed but very drinkable.
