330 ml bottle, from SPAR Hirtshals. ABV is 4.8%. Deep brown colour, moderate off-white to beige head. Aroma of malts and biscuits with a hint of roast. The flavour is malty but not very sweet, notes of toast, also some medium roast malts, hints of caramel and earthy hops.

330 ml bottle, from SPAR Hirtshals. ABV is now 7%. Dark brown colour, large and creamy beige head. Distinct aroma of Christmas spices, also malts and caramel. The flavour is malty but not too sweet, notes of caramel and Christmas spices, moderate hops in the finish. Fairly good beer.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an almost opaque brown with an orange hue and a creamy, beige head. Not the loos you would expect from a Stout! The nose has a little sweetness which could derive from the added whisky (Bourbon?), but it's really more of a Bock aroma. Rich, malty body, fairly subdued roast character and some caramel sweetness. A little late bitterness. Not your typical Stout - a bit of a hybrid with Bock, but pleasant enough. 101219

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an almost clear amber with a small, rough, off-white head. Malty nose with a slight touch of....cloves and cinnamon? Medium body, has a somewhat worty, unfinished feel and the spices don't really add anything much. A bit sloppy to be honest, but at least not offensive. 191119
