Bottle from Nisa Local, Upper Beeding. Aroma is boof - dark fruits and a vinous streak with booze. Dark opaque chestnut. Translucent beige head soon scarpers. Tangy sour berries with a hint of booze. Zippy. Underlying sweet dark fruits, berries. Molasses and malts. Medium bodied. Oily. Average carbonation. Long pretty astringent finish. Big boozy fun. Yum.

Bottle from a Nisa in Upper Beading. So rumours of this beer's retirement were unfounded. Aroma is pungent - pick it up from a distance. Aroma is big and fruity and ripe (dark fruit and berries). Spice and booze. Opaque treacle brown. Creamy foamy off-white head. Tangy and sour berries. Chewy. Underlying malts. Develops a woody streak. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long slightly astringent finish. Big boozy fruity stuff.

Monday 30th Sep 2019; Shrewsbury Monthly Share in Chez Sophie. Another offering from me, 500ml bottle; BBE Nov 2019. Misty golden pour, white head. As the name and label wording suggests this is a ginger flavoured chili beer. It's subtle though and doesn't blow your head off like some of the 'hotter' beers sometimes do.

500ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Sep 19. Thanks Jeremy for this. Pours misty golden yellow, small white head. Aroma ginger, floral. Not as chilli-focussed as I feared. Good ginger floral action with the lightest chili tickle on the finish. Gentle, balanced and drinkable.

Christmas gift from relatives who live near Steyning. Atoms is a mix of caramel, veg and sour berries, with a good dose of malts. Light chestnut. Attractive thick foamy light beige head. Light bitter before developing in strength along with some sourness. Malty as to be expected but with a woody almost liquorice element. Some pepperiness. Thin. Watery. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long finish. Wasn't expecting too much (aroma doesn't help) but it did have a spark of life to it.
