16 oz. can shared by tfontana. Fresh 05/05/21. Nose is bright citrus and hints of herb. Flavor is lightly grassy coming through upfront, pale malts and grapefruit pith and some herbal hiding behind this vibrant hop profile. Dry texture makes you want to take another sip. Nice!

16 oz. can shared by tfontana. Thanks Tom. 03/08/21 date. Aroma is malt dominated. Light and clean malt backbone. Crisp bright flavor that’s balanced and clean and delicate with nice herbal noble hops and a gentle cereal-like hint. Decent.

Bottle pour shared by Jason, split 5 ways. It's a hazy brown (between iced tea and root beer) with light sparkle, thin cap of off-white head fading to a ring. Aroma is nice, well-balanced mix of green apple and caramel. Taste follows aroma exactly. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation, no hint of alcohol and finish as taste. Overall, this is not the most complex thing but is exceptionally well balanced without being too boozy or too sweet. Just goes down REAL easy and it was probably good it was split 5 ways! Not that I've had terribly many, but probably the best apple brandy barrel barley wine I've had. Very nice.

Pours murky gold into a shaker. Bright white soapy head with medium retention recedes to mottle surface. Tropical fruit skin and sourdough aromas. Soft with overripe mango pith and skin, citrus peel and banana skin front to back. Lasting dusty guava finish. Should have checked the date... looks like this one was 5 months old, so may be better fresh.
