330ml can. Jet black colour with average, frothy to creamy, slowly diminishing, moderately lacing, beige head. Chocolately, dark malty and minimally fruity aroma, notes of dark chocolate, cocoa, couverture, hints of cherry, chocolate sponge cake. Taste is roasty and chocolately, dark malty, notes of dark chocolate, cocoa, couverture, hints of chocolate sponge cake, some hop bitterness, weak fruity overtones with a touch of cherry. Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously minimally dry palate, fine, dense, soft, mildly prickly carbonation. Well controlled sweetness, quite chocolately - not bad.

Tap at Arendsnest. Copper colour, small beige head and lace. Light malts, caramel in the nose. Light-bodied. Crisp, some caramalt, low on maltyness, some earthy hops. Very easy.

Pours a turbid yellow body and a big, dense, rocky off-white head. Aroma's: big resin from the glass, resinous, juicy, dank and bitter retronasal. Flavour is juicy citrus, moderate bitter and light sweet. Medium bodied. Light hopburn. Long finish, fairly bitter.
