A small independent brewery in the Geordie heartland of Blaydon; 400 yards from the mighty River Tyne, and under 5 miles from the centre of Newcastle.

Can from Hydrology. Pours crystal clear amber brown with a thick beige head. Aromas of cinnamon and toffee. Taste is honeyed malt, Christmas spice, mixed peel. Festive.

Rocky white head left a creamy cover on a well carbonated clear amber coloured body. Malt, citra & bitter aroma - well balanced. Medium bodied, smooth with a sharp back. Citrus, pine, earthy, malt & hoppy tastes with a bitter finish. Decent quaffer.

Tight white head on fast carbonating clear golden coloured body. Zesty citrus & pine aroma. Medium bodied, sharp & clean. Citrus, pine, zesty & stone fruit tastes. Nice enough.

Cask @ Coventry Beer Festival. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are hops, malt, fruits, citrus, flowers and has a sweet finish.

Cask @ Coventry Beer Festival. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, fruity and light hoppy - citrus. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish. 110323

26/9/2022. 440ml can bought at CentrAle, Newcastle. Pours clear dark golden orange with a frothy white head. Aroma of spicy orange, tropical fruits, citrus, spruce, biscuit, malt. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Medium body, oily, average carbonation. Well done.

26/9/2022. 330ml can from CentrAle, Newcastle. BBE 210423. Pours clear dark orange amber with a small frothy just off-white head. Aroma is malty, pine, orange, hops, light herbs, biscuit, dank spicy edge. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Medium body, oily, average carbonation. Flavoursome but seemed to lack freshness.
