26/9/2022. 330ml can from CentrAle, Newcastle. BBE 210423. Pours clear dark orange amber with a small frothy just off-white head. Aroma is malty, pine, orange, hops, light herbs, biscuit, dank spicy edge. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Medium body, oily, average carbonation. Flavoursome but seemed to lack freshness.

Cask at Peterborough Beer Festival 2022. Pours gold to amber with a white cap. Aroma: caramel, toffee. Taste: light to moderate sweet & bitter, bread, caramel, toffee, grass. Semi-dry finish. Medium body with soft carbonation. Very nice.

Thin beige head on a rich reddish amber coloured still body. Toffee, caramel & spiced fruit aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a thinning lively back. Toffee, spiced fruit, cinnamon & cardamom tastes sweeter honey finish. Decent brew.

Aroma of caramel, malt, biscuit, black treacle, dried fruits, liquorice. Moderate sweetness and medium roasted bitterness. Medium body, average to soft carbonation. Nice dry fruity bitter chocolate finish. Enjoyable.
