Cask at Peterborough Beer Festival 2022. Pours gold to amber with a white cap. Aroma: caramel, toffee. Taste: light to moderate sweet & bitter, bread, caramel, toffee, grass. Semi-dry finish. Medium body with soft carbonation. Very nice.

Can from an Amble grocer. Pours clear golden with a thick white head. Aromas of orange peel and brown bread. Taste is more of the same. Clean finish.

Can from Hydrology. Pours black with a thin beige head. Aromas of coffee, chocolate and vanilla. Taste is chocolate sponge and chocolate custard. Coffee linger.

Thin beige head on a rich reddish amber coloured still body. Toffee, caramel & spiced fruit aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a thinning lively back. Toffee, spiced fruit, cinnamon & cardamom tastes sweeter honey finish. Decent brew.

Bottle from NE brews. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of corn and light lemon. Taste is light sweet, more corn. Dries out on the finish.

21/6/2021. Bottle from CentrAle, Newcastle. Shared with SHIG and Dana at the Suffolk Solstice beer share. Pours dark bronze brown with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma of caramel, malt, biscuit, black treacle, dried fruits, liquorice. Moderate sweetness and medium roasted bitterness. Medium body, average to soft carbonation. Nice dry fruity bitter chocolate finish. Enjoyable.

Bottle shared during the Suffolk Solstice meet up: Poured a deep brown with a red edges, head was tan. Aroma is rich malty, biscuit, chocolate. Taste is raisin, malty, chocolate.

21/6/2021. Bottle from CentrAle, Newcastle. Shared with SHIG and Dana at the Suffolk Solstice beer share. Pours clear bright amber with a small frothy white head. Aroma of malt, hops, earthy notes, caramel, butter, cardboard. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Moderate body, slight watery texture, average carbonation. Slight harsh nose but tasted good.
