Op tap bij Biererei. Zwarte kleur, dunne beige kraag. Zoet, pure chocolade, licht gebrand, boozy, cacao, vanille, bourbon, geconfijte vruchtjes, vijgen, bitterzoete en lichtgebrande finish. Volle body. Lekker hoor, maar belachelijk duur en zwaar over-hyped.

Op tap bij Biererei. Donker roodbruine kleur, geen kraag. Bourbon, rogge, rozijntjes, vijgen, ruikt top, smaak is erg zoet, fruitig, gedroogd fruit, kersen, hoog Dr Pepper / Cherry Cola gehalte, ook door het fijne koolzuur, bourbon, vanille, moutig, stroperig. Bitterzoete finish. Ook weer veel te duur voor wat het is.

Bottle at Drinkøteka, huge thanks Barba! Pitch black body, tiny brownish-grey head. Dusty, oxidized aroma, huge carob, chocolate, cakey, light gluey alcohol. Lighter than expected, smooth, yet bitter, warming, still cakey, rye, carob, more alcohol.... Gotten to be a bit rough have to say.

500ml bottle, 2022 vintage. Chocolate aroma with notes of roasted malt, cherry, caramel, coffee, vanilla, oak and bourbon. Pours deep brown with a thin mocha brown head that has little retention and a thin ring of lacing. Starts with rich chocolate, roasted malt, caramel and cherry flavors as well as having a rich, full body and silky smooth mouthfeel. Finishes impeccably smooth with coffee, vanilla, oak and bourbon flavors as well as nice warming booze that warms the belly. Near perfection.
