12oz bottle. Lively frothy carbonation. Filtered deep golden color. UK IPA style, full of hop flavor. Pleasant fresh grapefruit hop aroma. This is a really well done IPA. A very clean example of a world class IPA.

Bottle, The Offie, Leicester. Hazy orange colour with a steady thin off white head. Yeasty , fruity aroma. Pleasant mouthfeel. Some citrus hop in the flavour with a hint of spice. Definite orange notes. Plenty going on, and well crafted. A little on the sweet side but thoroughly enjoyable.

12oz bottle. Hazy bronze-amber color. Very pleasant Belgian yeast and hop aroma. Thick and full bodied mouthfeel. Malty and rich with a subtle solid hop bitterness in the finish. Very subtle and respectable beer. Reminds me of a Belgian Singel. Good stuff.

12 ounce bottle shared by cdumler. Thanks! Pours a hazy peach color with a thin but persistent frothy head. Aroma of yeast, dough, faint hops and subtle caramel. Taste is pear like fruit notes, bready notes and spicy hops. Medium bodied.

Courtesy of gillard. Pours golden blonde with white head. Aroma, sugary, hoppy fruity (grapefruit) and nice grains / malts. Taste, nice caramel malt, hoppy floral / piney. Very well balanced between malts and hops, doesn’t have the high bitterness of the west coast ipa’s.

OTH tasting 09/06/08. Pours crystal clear deep gold with thin white head. The aroma is full with coriander spice notes, sugary sweet Belgian candi sugar, mild brown sugar, hints of grainy malts and more spiciness. The taste has sweet notes seducing the palate first with mild esters, assorted spices and a faint yet growing pepper seem to round out the smooth blended flavor. There’s more going on here but I’m struggling putting words to the experience.

Bottled. Clear golden color, short head. Nice aroma of fruity and flowery hops, lavendel. Taste of bitter berries (gooseberry?), quite bitter.

bottle - Pours light amber with a medium sized head. It has a nice pine hop aroma. There’s a strong hop flavor with hints of pine and citrus that actually could have used some more malt to balance the profile and add more body. It’s still a nice autumn session brew though.

A rather alcoholic aroma with some bourbon, dark chocolate, a bit of coffee, wood and smoke notes and dark fruit hints. Sweet flavor with lots of chocolate (pralines), bourbon and a bit of caramel. Lots of alcohol in the flavor. Full thick body. Too much alcohol and quite a bit of bourbon in the flavor but still good even if not too drinkable. 7/4/7/4/15=3.7

(10/9/08) Draught sample at the brewpub in Clybourn, Chicago. Clear slightly reddish amber color. Fresh hops in the nose with flowers and citrus. Flavor is slightly sweetish at first, with some malt and light caramel and bread notes and continues moderately bitter and hoppy. Medium-bodied. 7/4/7/3/14=3.5
