330ml bottle: BB 27th Oct 2021 (brewed by Ridgeway); obtained from Beers of Europe. Drank at home on 23rd Jan 2021. Third beer in my random tasting session with myself, eating cheese and biscuits as I rate! Clean and clear golden body, fast fading white head. Citrus fruit lead in both the nose and taste, some decent maltiness comes through too. Got better as it warmed a little in the glass.

Bottle from Beers Of Europe. Appearance - golden amber with a snow white head. Nose - orange, lightly cakey, but avoids toffee or caramel. Taste - more orange and cakiness. Palate - light bodied, decent journey through the middle and balanced/refreshing finish. Overall - nice.

Bottle from Beers of Europe, says it's brewed at Ridgeway, but maybe the same recipe? ABV is the same. Pours clear golden amber with a thin white head. Nice passionfruit nose, taste is light fruity. Slightly thin on the finish, but nice enough.

Pours a hazy amber colour with an average sized frothy off white head that settled. Aroma is fruity and malt, oranges, caramel and fruity hops. Moderately sweet taste, orange marmalade and sweet malt flavours with a citrusy bitter finish.

Keg at the Cock Tavern - Hackney. Pours clear gold with a creamy, white topping. Holds some ripening citrus fruits, light sweetness, a little pine. Medium bodied, lightly oily, with fine carbonation. Finishes with mellow piney bitterness, more ripening citrus. Quite basic. So so.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up somewhere random years ago, maybe an Oddbins, think it was like 2014/15. Beer is BBE July 2016. Pours black-brown with a dense, creamy tan head. Shows some age but is still in great shape. Holds modest sweetness, rich ashy roast, old burnt wood, baking cocoa, scorched earth, light iodine. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Only mild warmth in the finish, quite dry, some bitter coffee, more bitter baking cocoa, lingering drying ashy roast. Solid, toothy impy.

Tried at the Euston tap. It’s looked amber under very red lights. Aroma lime and mint with berry hints. Slightly bittersweet

Keg at Waterloo Tap. Pine aroma. Hazy copper gold. Thick foamy white head. Light-medium bitter before sweet edged sour citrus comes through into the finish. Light bodied. Thin. Fizzy carbonation. Slips down. Definitely a Session beer.
