Gravity at the gun IPA fest. Golden orange colour with a loose off white head. Aroma is juicy peach, tea. Flavour is very citrus with a slight tartness. Assertive clean bitterness. Packs a punch in flavour for the abv. Light body but not watery. Nice carb for a cask beer.

Keg at The Southern. Pours hazy yellow with decent white head. Big lemon aromas, with alcohol notes too. Very much like Limoncello! Tastes very sharp, full-on tongue-tingling lemon zest. A bit too much in the end. Very interesting though.

Draught @ CBC2013. Pours hazy reddish golden with a creamy off-white head that slowly dissipates while leaving lots of trace and lacing on the glass. Smell is malty, fruity and floral with crackers, biscuits, mango, papaya, pineapple, grapefruit juice, moist green herbs, sweet dark bread, toffee, alcohol, lemon balm, lemon zest and orange zest. Taste is slightly sweet, bitter, fruity, herbal and floral with crackers, biscuits, toffee, alcohol, moist green herbs, grass, pine needles, grapefruit juice, tropical fruit smoothie, lemon zest, orange zest and caramel. Mouthfeel is round, astringent, tiny boozy and medium to full bodied. Finish is tiny sweet, bitter, fruity, floral and herbal with biscuits, caramel, alcohol, grapefruit juice, tropical fruits, moist green herbs, grapefruit rinds, lemon zest, grass, pine needles and alcohol. DIPA-esque, nicely done...

On tap @ Beer Temple. Pale yellow color, hazy. White head - not much. Aroma’s: citrus, pine, resin, hay/straw. The resin is more upfront retronasal. Flavor is rather mild, malty & grainy, lightly bitter. Light bodied. Finishes bitter but not too harsh. American in the aroma, but British in flavor. Nice!

Draught at Flying Elk, Stockholm. Hazy amber, small head. Rich aroma of tangerine and grass. Mid dry with light-medium body and crisp mouthfeel. Clean, hoppy flavour profile with grass, black currant and citrus together with some peppery spices. Mid bitter finish.

Cask at the Half Moon, Windlesham, 08/09/13. Despite having a few pints on my wedding day I re-rated this one the day after, the notes were a little scratchy on the 7th! Mid black with a big old frothy tan head - this really looked the bollocks on both days! Nose is milk chocolate, light smoke, vanilla essence, subtle whisky notes. Taste comprises milk chocolate, brown sugars, sweet, subtle whisky, light woody tones. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, sublte whisky notes in the finale. Cheers again Ryan, great stuff, I preferred this to the base beer, the whisky takes away the sweetness a little and infuses with smoke. A real looker as well !

Hand bottled cask and kindly provide by the groom Colin; drank on the 10th Sept, dark brown pour with thin bubbly tan head, aroma has flashes of smoke and whisky, taste is smokey like hickory chips on a BBQ, ripe red fruits, some chocolate and vanilla, cigar smoke, lactose sweetness mellow carbonation, excellent drop.

Cask at the Half Moon, Windlesham 07/09/13, my wedding day. Lightly hazed golden orange with a good sized off white head that eventually thins to a covering. Nose is juicy hops, mango, apricot jam, light pine, grapefruit. Taste comprises light juicy hops, light mineral notes, orange pith, mango, fleshy grapefruit, hint of gin. Light end of medium body, soft carbonation, hop bittermess in the finale. Super drinkable stuff, not at all thin, packed with flavour. Having had the base version adding the gin certainly pumped something else into this one, Great stuff Ryan!
